The low-voltage short-circuit impedance test is the most direct method to identify whether the transformer has been impacted by mechanical force during transportation or installation or short-circuit current during operation, and to check whether its windings are deformed. It is of great significance to determine whether the transformer can be put into operation. One of the basis for whether the transformer should be disassembled and inspected.
The low-voltage short-circuit impedance tester is suitable for low-voltage impedance testing of power transformers (single-phase or three-phase) at the factory, handover, pre-testing and overhaul. It is a rapid testing instrument to check whether the transformer has winding deformation.
